At The Pilates Standard, we believe that understanding where the Pilates Method comes from is essential to understanding its true depth and purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our educational foundation is rooted in the direct lineage of <\/span>Joseph Pilates<\/span><\/strong>, carried forward through his prot\u00e9g\u00e9 <\/span>Romana Kryzanowska<\/span><\/strong> and preserved through the teachings of our founding educator, <\/span>Bob Liekens<\/span><\/strong>. Their dedication to the authentic Classical Pilates Method continues to guide everything we teach today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Founded in 2012, TPS was created with a clear mission: to preserve the integrity, precision, and brilliance of the original method while educating future generations of Pilates teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lineage shown below represents more than a family tree of teachers. It reflects a living tradition of knowledge, mentorship, and excellence that has been passed from one generation to the next.
